我的家庭有四口人：爺爺、爸爸、媽媽，還有我。由於工廠的效益很不好，我的父母在1996年前後分別下崗。從那時開始，我們的家就陷入了窘迫之中。年老體弱的爺爺需要媽媽的悉心照料，所以家裡的重負一下子都落到了爸爸一個人的肩膀上。下崗後，自強的爸爸多次去外地打工，希望能為我掙出大學學費，但每次都是由於上了年紀，再加上沒有文化，不時間不長就被人辭退了。多次的外出打工並沒有實質上改善我們家的條件，反而給家中唯一的經濟支柱——爸爸，留下了許多的傷。現在，爸爸經常都會頭痛、四肢無力，更加不能承擔強體力勞動了。有一次，爸爸的頭疼的非常厲害，在我和媽媽的強烈要求第一次去了醫院。經過初步檢查，醫生說，可能是長期的重體力勞動和營養不良所致，若想進一步確診，還要經過很多檢查。然而，爸爸為了給家裡省錢，給我留點學費，堅持不再做檢查，也再不去醫院了。
後來，爸爸經人介紹，在工廠了當了門衛，一個月的工資有650元。但媽媽仍然沒有工作。
2005年，經過多年的努力，帶著全家人的夢想，我終於考上了大學。但是高昂的學費卻讓我們一家更強烈地感受到了生活的不易。我考慮到家裡的實際情況，我原打算放棄繼續求學這條道路，早日參加工作來減輕父親的負擔，貼補家用。但是父親通過自身的經歷，深切體會到了文化知識的重要性。只有教育才能改變命運，只有教育才能從根本上改變家裡的生活狀況。所以為了讓我將來能有更多的機會，在教育質量口碑良好，學風嚴謹的學校中接受更好的教育，全家人經過仔細篩選，多方考證，最終在高考志願書上堅定的寫下了XXXXXXX大學這幾個沉甸甸的字。但這一年XX的巨額學費是我家2年不吃不喝也攢不出來的。而我的父母情願為了我的前途，我們家的未來背負超過4萬的債務。多虧了我的父母、親戚，朋友，我得到了和別的孩子一樣的機會，來到了美麗神聖的大學，坐在這明亮寬敞的教室里，接受更好的教育。
上大學兩年以來，我深知著上學的機會來之不易。我省吃簡用，化壓力為動力，化愛為能量，無時無刻不再努力著，各門功課均達到優良水平，積極參加學校的各項活動，熱心幫助同學，在班裡名列前茅。大一的時候就通過了英語四級考試，大二的時候通過了計算機二級的考試，一直是入黨的積極分子。我希望通過我的努力，能讓我的家人寬慰，用良好的成績來回報幫助過我的親人和朋友，來回報國家和社會。
大三的學習生活如期而至，而父親，也和每年一樣，又在挨家挨戶的為我的學費奔走。每次回到家裡都是愁眉不解的悶頭抽著煙。這樣的情景讓我的心裡很難受。因為我知道，別的朋友也許不理解，為什麼我的父親非要讓我去上那麼貴的XXXXXX大學。我也知道，父親一定又是為了我遭受了許多的冷嘲熱諷、白眼、閉門羹。我還知道，有很多給我家借過錢的親戚、朋友也再不願意借錢給我們家了。這些讓我的父親十分發愁。好在，在開學的時候，學費終於湊齊了，按時繳上了。可是明年的學費又在哪裡呢？
現如今，黨和國家的政策是大力發展教育事業，這讓我這樣的學生看到了生活的希望。我滿懷熱血感謝黨和國家對貧困學生的關心。真誠希望領導給我一次機會，一解我求學之路的燃眉之急。我會以200%的努力好好學習，爭取上進！只要自己一有能力，就馬上回饋社會，幫助所有有需要的人。特別的是我一定要成為一個能對國家和社會做出特殊和巨大貢獻的人。
